“Pellets” Working Group of HELLABIOM offers to all interested members of the Biomass Association, who are active in the individual sectors of production, storage, handling and sale of standardized solid biofuels (pellets – briquettes), a platform for communication, meeting and discussion on common topics issues and concerns regarding the development of the pellet market in Greece.

In addition, the Pellet Working Group provides the opportunity for the participating members to identify and propose actions for:
– strengthening the contribution of solid biofuels (pellets – briquettes), in combination with the use of modern combustion devices, to renewable heating,
– addressing industry challenges
– overcoming existing barriers
– broadly informing the public and policy makers about renewable heat and RES.

Discussions will focus on providing market updates on the latest developments and future industry trends, both domestically and at EU level, as well as presenting HELLABIOM’s positions on current industry reputational issues.
